Community Activities
The Vinton Guild of Fine Arts strives to promote the fine arts in our area by being engaged in the community in a wide variety of art-related activities. We often partner with other local organizations to accomplish this, including Virginia Gay Hospital, Benton County Conservation, Vinton Public Library, Benton County 4H/Extension, Benton County Historical Society, Vinton Unlimited, Vinton Parks & Rec, Pourville Art Studio, Windsor Manor, and others. The Vinton Community Foundation has sponsored some of these activities over the years. Many thanks to all of our partners & contributors!

Public art builds social connections and engenders community pride, enhances quality of life, increases tourism, and generates revenue for local businesses and artists (Amherst Public Art Commission, 10 Great Reasons to Support Public Art).
